HSBC Electronic Data Processing (Guangdong) Limited (HDPG), one of Global Resourcing Centres,
commenced operation in 1996 to provide operational support to HSBC's offices around the world.
Since then, we have experienced rapid growth over the past 10 years. Given the new group directives,
the third Guangzhou Centre will be established in 2007. It is anticipated that we will expand continuously in the coming years.

Vacancy description:
The key objective of the Management Trainee Programme is to develop future leaders through practical
experience and management skills training in the Operations aspects of our business. The 24-month
program involves a number of attachments to various core functional areas of the business. During attachments to the core functions, trainees will take an active role and be expected to contribute to the business as a full-time executive through actual job assignments.

Our 24-month Management Trainee Programme is designed for high potential graduates with no / limited previous working experience.

* Mentor Coaching
A senior member of the management team will act as mentor of the trainee throughout the program.

Though various working attachments to various functions and internal training programs for technical skills and soft skiffs.

Starting up as a Supervisor

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must obtain a Bachelor or Master degree while no particular discipline is required. Excellent language capacity in English and Cantonese is a must.

Global Resourcing is an international function within HSBC and integral part of the Managing for Growth strategy. 5 years ago. It consisted of 2 offices in Guangzhou, China, and Hyderabad, India, employing approximately 1,100 staff. As of December 2005, it represents a team of 19,000 HSBC employees located in 10 offices across 5 countries.
These offices are called Group Service Centres or GSCs. They provide quality service to HSBC customers by working with branches and other HSBC business areas to process a variety of customer requests. These range from general processing work (e.g. account maintenance, payments etc.) to telephone banking services, as well as support to credit, trade and investments.
